The vest material is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Replellent) finish. This chemical treatment forces water to bead up and roll off the surface of the fabric, which enhances the water-ressistant properties and keeps the fabric light, by not soaking up water. This super durable application will retain its properties even after repeated use and washings.

There are two concealed coil retractors on front of vest, for snips, forceps and the 4 main front pockets are a box-design to swallow the largest of fly boxes. There are 5 additional front accessory pockets for floatants, sinkants, leaders etc. Inside are further zipped and mesh pockets and an internal priest pocket. On the rear of the vest is a large bellows pocket, with a further, outer mesh pocket. These have a full length zip one side for large items and a short zip on the left hand side allows a water bottle or spare spool to be easily retrieved, without taking the vest off.
